Last Saturday, 28th November, Krister received the prize for the musical score accompanying Tarik Saleh’s renowned animated vision Metropia. The film is set in a not so distant future where the world's oil reserves are nearly depleted and Europe's subways have been built together into a giant network. The cast include Juliette Lewis, Vincent Gallio and Stellan Skarsgård, amongst others. The jury's motivation: "The Jameson Music Award for best original music goes to the composer of a soundtrack that contributes to the creation of a unique mood throughout a film that takes us into a highly singular film world."We congratulate Krister, and are quite proud that SubSpace Communications, in collaboration with Ghostfriend, now releases this award-winning soundtrack. |
